Mountain Gorilla; Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Photo: C. Rebman

There are just over one thousand mountain gorillas on the planet. The good news, thanks to their protected status, is that their numbers are increasing. Fortunately, many of them are in Uganda. Better yet, you can visit them in their natural habitat and spend an hour with them from a respectful distance of about 20 feet. The families are habituated and go about their business even when humans are nearby. Even though you may only have time for a short trip, your desire to meet the gorillas can be fulfilled, and, regardless of your strength, you can be transported to the gorillas’ home in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Don’t miss this extraordinary once-in-a-lifetime experience. You will never forget it.

Here’s a little more information from one of our blog posts. And this video will give you a taste of what the experience might be like, and the type of clothing and gear recommended for the terrain: https://youtu.be/Ub68jOk6RzM. And this one, not at all typical but may you be so lucky! https://youtu.be/x2H7zcqjplc
