Map of Uganda

One of the most dramatically beautiful countries in Africa, Uganda is the perfect starting point for your African safari tour. Uganda offers a wealth of opportunities for wildlife viewing, trekking, and other outdoor activities. In addition, having more than 50 tribal groups has given it an extraordinarily diverse human culture. Its many national parks include Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, Kidepo, Semliki, Kibale Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable and others. These preserves are home to elephants, lions, leopards, Nile crocodiles, hippo, hyenas, various types of antelope, many kinds of butterflies and other insects and more species of birds than there are in all of North America.

Uganda has the second highest mountains in Africa — the Rwenzoris; with many trails for exploring this beautiful range — as well as expert-rated mountain climbing opportunities up to 16,000 feet.

Kampala, its capital city, and its other cities and towns offer an endless variety of cultural, artistic, religious, musical and architectural attractions; in our opinion, a day tour of Kampala should be a part of every itinerary.

Your African safari tour can last from 3 days to 3 weeks or more, and, as with all our tours, we will custom design a visit that perfectly fits your interests.
